Update version 7.6

  • Rib coupler contact update
  • Jacket geometry adjusted for rib coupler contact and thigh angle adjustment. No more negative volume in jacket for thigh y rotations up to +/- 3 degrees without pre-simuation
  • Lumbar optimized with better component test results
  • Pelvis flech *MAT optimized, *DAMPING_PART_STIFFNESS changed to 0.1
  • *SET_NODE fixed for psg-script (pre-simulation script)

WSID50th V6.0 has just one side for iliac wing force evaluation. WSID50th V7.0 has both sides.

 

  • Constrained_method for optional thorax_rib_damping_mat_nodes:

The optional nodes are constrained by:
*CONSTRAINED_NODAL_RIGID_BODY

This feature is available for both sides of thorax-rib damping parts from version 7.0. The control-parameter of thickness of thorax-rib damping parts is still &trd_opt and located at the first place of block *PARAMETER.

For EuroNCAP evaluation the local x- and y- deflections in respect to the spine box is calculated by an equation.
In simulation model we have added different nodes to evaluate the local x- and y- deflections directly form the nodout file for LHD and RHD. Nodes are defined:

These are measured by key word CONSTRAINED_JOINTSTIFFNESS_TRANSLATIONAL_TITLE and CONSTRAINED_JOINTSTIFFNESS_GENERALIZED_TITLE.
